Guido Rivolta

Guido is a Senior Adviser at RPPA Italy bringing his experience from economic and financial journalism, as well as politics and business in his 40 years career.
Before joining Rud Pedersen in Italy, he was the Head of External Relation of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (the State investment’s arm), setting up the research, communication and institutional relations division and board member of Telespazio (a branch of Leonardo Group).
He also worked as spokesperson of the Minister of Economy Giulio Tremonti in 1994 and in 2001 – 2004.
As a journalist, he worked for the most important outlets in Italy like Il Sole 24 Ore, where he covered financial markets, the banking and industrial sector and il Corriere della Sera.
He was Head of the economic desk at Mondo Economico (a magazine related to Il Sole 24 Ore) and at Il Giornale, editor at the weekly Borsa & Finanza and of Tuttofondi Standard & Poor’s.
During the years, he has been a consultant of the main groups in Italy in the financial, infrastructures, defence and industrial sector in Italy providing advices to the CEOs and Chairmen.
In addition, he was the Responsible for the Communication of the “Task Force Colao”, led by the former Minister of Technological Innovation Vittorio Colao and aimed at relaunching the Italian economy and NHS in the aftermath of the Covid19 pandemic.
Guido is also an advisor of the Aspen Institute, one of the most prominent think tanks in Italy, chaired by Giulio Tremonti.
He graduated in International Economy at Bocconi University in Milan.
