Michail Michalopoulos

Michail has a background in European and EU politics and society. Before joining Rud Pedersen where he focuses on energy and climate policies, he conducted research on an Atlantic Council report on the energy transition in Southeast Europe and the eastern Mediterranean, as well as contributed to an LSE-University of Piraeus joint research paper on energy poverty and energy communities in Greece.

Michail holds a BA in European Politics from Kings College, London and a MSc in Culture and Conflict in a Global Europe by the London School of Economics and Political Science. During his studies, Michail extensively studied European societal and political developments, focusing his undergraduate and post-graduate dissertations on populism in Greece after the 2008 economic crisis.

He is a native Greek speaker, fluent in English and currently revisiting his French.
