Matteo Moretti

Matteo is a young professional interested in sustainability and trade policy. Through his studies, he developed a deep understanding of the European Union's policy-making process and its external relations. He holds a Master's in European and International Governance, obtained at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels, and an Advanced Master's in European integration, specialising in European Environmental Governance, from the Brussels School of Governance.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, he gained practical expertise through various working experiences: first, he worked for a chemical company, covering compliance with EU legislation. He then moved to a consultancy, EPPA, where he worked on energy and chemical policy. Lastly, he worked for the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament, first as a trade policy advisor and then as an external consultant.
He is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish and has an intermediate knowledge of French.
