Elisabeth Laird
Senior Account Manager, Brussels
Elisabeth supports clients on both pan-European advocacy campaigns and policy and political monitoring on issues relating to sustainability, with a focus on chemicals, metals, and plastics.
Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, Elisabeth started her career in EU public affairs in a boutique consultancy with a focus on chemicals, international trade and Brexit, and digitalization. She then joined a U.S.-headquartered consultancy.
She has also worked in the European Parliament as a political policy advisor and has gained experience at Eurojust, the Welsh Parliament, and the Wales Governance Centre. Elisabeth holds a Master’s Degree (MSc) in European Politics from the London School of Economics. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of William & Mary.
A native English speaker, Elisabeth is conversant in German and has familiarity with Russian, Welsh, and Dutch.
