Iliya Dzhongarov

Iliya has a strong background in International and European law. Before joining Rud Pedersen, Iliya gained valuable experience in European affairs and governance while he was an intern at the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the EU during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU. He was also a trainee within the Press & Information Unit of the European Court of Justice where he was supporting his team in the preparation of Press releases on the decisions of the Court. There, he also participated in the organization of high-level meetings as well as strengthening relationships with national media.

Iliya holds a bachelor’s degree in French law from the University of Bordeaux as well as two Masters' degrees. One in International law from the University of Bordeaux and one in European Legal studies from the College of Europe. He is fluent in English, French, and Bulgarian.
