From Raminta Rimkienė, Managing Partner Fabula Lithuania

Fabula’s team recently wrapped up their summer with Viking reception at our Demark office and successfully took over Amsterdam. Currently we are extremely busy in preparing for our annual client and partner event, which aims to assist businesses in navigating the ever-changing landscape of transformation.

Meanwhile, our country is entering a high-stakes election season with a triple header featuring Presidential and European Parliament elections in the spring, followed by parliamentary elections in the autumn of the next year. This means very feisty budget discussions, which include a tax reform that has not received a lot of love from the ruling coalition partners. Presidential candidates will also be announced by the end of the year, and speculating about who will win has become one of our main topics at the office coffee machine. Also, fingers crossed for same-sex partnership legislation this autumn and our best basketball team Žalgiris doing well in the Euroleague.
