How long have you been with the company?
Since September 2019
What does your role focus on/include?
I'm an Account Director in the Brussels office, where I mainly work on coordinating the work for the Bayer projects. Due to that, I interact quite a bit with all RP offices, which is fun. Besides that, I work for clients/projects in the food-agriculture space, such as Diageo. Together with Graeme Taylor, I also lead our Food-Ag team in Brussels, which we started in 2022 and has grown to be quite a special and successful team.
What is your favourite aspect of working at Rud Pedersen Group?
The cool/fun people.
Who are some of your major influences at work? (Shout-outs to people you work with that put a smile on your face or motivate you to be your best self!)
Besides my own teammates (Graeme, Miriam, Victor, Marie, etc.), I really value the input from James (Stevens) and Jonatan (Tylsgaard Larsen); mainly because they have a different way of looking at issues/problems, and thus also make me reflect more on 'thinking outside of the box'.
What is your favourite productivity hack
Taking everything step-by-step, and splitting the gigantic tasks up in smaller ones.
Any advice to colleagues considering starting their career at RPG?
Value the collaboration and colleagues across all offices: we're all trying to go into the same direction so if we can help each other out along the way, that's always an extra plus.
Where is your favourite destination you’ve visited, and why?
Namibia - it's the perfect place to explore (with your camper and a tent on the roof) and get away from the day-to-day rush that our job entails (as there is barely any Wi-Fi connection anywhere).
What is the book/podcast you recommend the most?
The Secret History by Donna Tartt
What is your favourite quote? Or life advice you’ve received?
"Lead by example"; this is a quality that I very much look for in my own 'leaders', as well as try to showcase to my own teammates. And it's so fun to see them also live that towards their own colleagues.
