Eva Nordmark
Senior Adviser, Sweden, Stockholm
Eva Nordmark served as Minister for Labour and Gender Equality from 2019 to 2022 and was a Member of the Swedish parliament from 1995 to 1998.
Prior to this, Eva worked as a trade union leader for 20 years including as President of both SKTF, today Vision, and TCO, The Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees. In addition, Eva has been a board member of ETUC, the European Trade Union Confederation, and ITUC, the International Trade Union Confederation.
Eva has also served as Vice Chair of Folksam and Chair of LTU, Luleå University of Technology.
Eva has extensive knowledge of the Swedish labour market model and expertise in labour market issues including social security and insurance systems in Sweden, the EU, and internationally. She has worked at the intersection of business, academia, and politics for many years.
She was appointed Knight of the Order of National Merit of France in 2018 for her commitment to women’s rights, higher education, and work for social dialogue in Sweden and Europe.
