Specialising in health policy, sustainability, and strategic communication, Diego leads Rud Pedersen's One Health initiatives in Spain.
Diego provides strategic counsel to clients in the healthcare and environmental sectors. With over two decades of experience in public administration and policy implementation, he has held significant positions, including Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Culture of the Community of Madrid, Head of the Department of Environment of the Madrid City Council, and Vice Minister of Humanization of Healthcare Assistance in the Community of Madrid. Diego has also served as a Member of the Regional Parliament of Madrid and as Director-General of Environment. His expertise extends to collaborating with the private sector to implement policies and manage sustainability initiatives. Recent projects include advising on sustainable healthcare practices and developing environmental policies for urban areas.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, Diego was deeply involved in public administration, contributing significantly to the evolution of Madrid's environmental and healthcare systems. He holds a degree in Political Science and Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and is fluent in Spanish and English.
