Ralfs Vilands

Ralfs founded corporate communications company VA Communications in 2013 and became a partner of a public affairs firm VA Government in 2017. Ralfs has specialises in corporate reputation, brand improvement, public affairs and crisis communication. During his professional career, he has provided advice to companies like BP Amoco, Hansabank (later Swedbank), the accession of Latvia to the EU, Latvia Finance Association, Uber, RB Rail (construction of the high-speed railway line Rail Baltica) and others. At present he is advising Maxima, Swedbank, energy sector companies and businesses in the crossroads. He is particularly interested in the changes in the market economy when it comes to stakeholder capitalism. The ability to advise clients in new circumstances seems particularly important to Ralfs. He is a board member of the Latvian Finance education association.
