Kjetil Skogrand

Skogrand has been Deputy Director General and Head of the Security Section at the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Public Safety. He has also served as Special Advisor and Coordinator of Strategic Analysis in the Norwegian Ministry of Defence.

He was Deputy Foreign Minister under the Stoltenberg-government from 2005-2006. He has also been Head of Section for Norwegian Security Policy at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies.

Skogrand was a Research Fellow at NUPI 1994-1995, Associate Professor (substitute) as Head of Secretariat for World Congress of historians, Department of History, University of Oslo, 1995-1997. From 1997, he was a Researcher at the Institute for Defense Studies.
