Gørill Husby Moore

Partner and Energy & Industries Director, Norway, Oslo

Gørill is leading Rud Pedersen`s specialised team within Energy, Climate, and Industries. In this role, she is working with companies that need to understand and navigate through the complex legislative and regulatory change driven by the Net-Zero agenda. She believes that being a proactive part of the solutions to climate change as energy transformation is a business-critical licence to operate for companies. She has extensive knowledge within the field of renewable energy, as well as wide experience working with subjects such as wind power, alternative fuels, and CCSU.  
Gørill is an experienced consultant and has worked with many clients across different sectors. Her area of expertise includes media relations, strategic communications, Public Affairs and sustainability. For more than 15 years, she has navigated the areas of politics, business strategy, and financial communication from the client-side. She has been Director of Communications and Policy for several international NGOs. She has also worked as a foreign journalist based in Africa and Mexico, where she wrote articles for numerous Scandinavian newspapers and worked as a reporter for TIME Magazine. She has also been the Nordic correspondent for British JANE's Intelligence Review.  Gørill was in charge of all communication work for the world’s largest telethon, NRK “TV Aksjonen” in 2009 and has led international award-winning campaigns, including #stopthewedding in 2014.  
Gørill holds a degree in Comparative Religion from the University of Bergen. As an academic, she was a fellow at the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala and at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), where she studied political Islam.
