Fredrik Myklebust Iversen

Fredrik specialises in industry, energy, climate and infrastructure policy at Rud Pedersen. He supports clients in navigating Norway’s political and regulatory landscape and provides analysis on how policy developments impact business and investment environments.
At Rud Pedersen, Fredrik advises clients in the energy, defence and infrastructure sectors, helping them understand political drivers and regulatory processes. Combining analytical insight with a strong grasp of decision-making structures, he contributes to effective communication and advocacy strategies. He has been involved in national and local political campaigns and supports clients on communication and policy initiatives. Since joining Rud Pedersen as a Researcher in 2022, Fredrik has developed experience across multiple sectors and policy areas.
Before joining Rud Pedersen, he interned with the Conservative Party’s parliamentary group and held leadership roles in both the Young Conservatives (Unge Høyre) and the Conservative Party (Høyre). He currently serves as a member of the municipal council in Randaberg.
Fredrik holds a master’s degree in political science from the University of Oslo, where he researched U.S.–China relations from 2001 to 2023. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Stavanger and is completing a bachelor’s in Chinese studies.
