Sybrig van Keep

Sybrig founded Issuemakers in 2007 together with Mayke van Keep, after working for more than 25 years in politics and public affairs. In addition to being a managing partner, she is mainly active in the areas of issue management, strategy, public affairs, political agenda-setting, reputation management and stakeholder management.

Sybrig is known for her substantive drive, strong analytical skills, far-reaching curiosity and extensive current knowledge. She knows how government, politics and business make policy and when it is best to approach and involve them. Within her work, Sybrig is constantly focused on what really matters and she is always looking for new possibilities.

She wrote the book together with Mayke 'Issue thinking, Real bosses make an impact' about social issues, issue management and putting issues on the political and social agenda. With four others she subsequently wrote the book 'Public Affairs in a social perspective'. Advocacy focuses less and less on politics and increasingly on stakeholders in society surrounding issues.

In 2017, together with Mayke, she acquired a place on the prestigious TheNextWomen100 list, an overview of female entrepreneurs. In addition, Sybrig is a member of the municipal council in Ouder-Amstel, affiliated with the Worldconnectors and involved in the VNO-NCW women's network.
