Susanna Korpivaara

Previously the External Affairs Director & Therapy Area Lead (Vaccines) for a leading global healthcare organisation, Susanna is experienced in leading and executing government affairs plans and activities in Pharma. As Therapy Area Lead for vaccines with P&L responsibility, she has led successful stakeholder projects involving the national immunisation programme, plus social and health care reform. She has worked on Corporate Social Responsibility projects involving collaboration with media agencies, trade organisations and FIMEA.

Having trained and served as a company spokesperson for 7 years, Susanna has experience in crisis and issues communications. In addition, she has participated in different working groups and committees (Chairing the Pharma Industry of Finland's Welfare Policy Committee for 3 years) and Boards of different organisations (both associations and foundations).

As a former Political Advisor (Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Education and Culture) she is well versed in ministerial communications and managing international affairs (EU, UN), especially on environmental and climate issues.
