Nina Hyvärinen

Nina brings extensive experience and expertise in geopolitics, EU affairs, and advocacy, along with a deep understanding of technology and security. At Rud Pedersen, she will play a pivotal role in supporting the Technology Team, although her broad skills can be leveraged to benefit all our clients.

Nina's remarkable career journey spans from the Foreign Ministry to Bosnia and Herzegovina, to pivotal roles in EU policy at the Prime Minister’s Office and Commissioner’s Cabinet in Brussels, and finally to the private sector in cybersecurity and technology policy. Throughout her career, Nina has provided strategic counsel to numerous political and business leaders.

Her unique background, encompassing both the public and private sectors, positions Nina as a bridge-builder capable of fostering dialogue between the two realms. Having been the focal point of advocacy efforts, Nina comprehends what matters to decision-makers and the significance of effective communication, aligning language, and understanding processes and timing. In Helsinki and Brussels, Nina's diverse skill set makes her a valuable asset and indispensable support for companies and organizations.
