Željko Romić

Junior Policy Adviser, Croatia, Zagreb

Željko Romić joins Rud Pedersen Croatia as a Junior Policy Adviser, representing Gen Z with a fresh perspective. He is knowledgeable in public administration reform and local government issues. His expertise in European and Foreign Affairs, the South-eastern Europe region, and the EU enlargement process makes him a valuable asset to the team.

Željko gained practical experience through internships at the Embassy of Israel in Croatia and the European Parliament in Croatia, where he honed his analytical and policy skills. He has also been an active volunteer, notably serving as President of Youth Councils at both regional and national levels and volunteering with the Croatian Red Cross.

He holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Zagreb, graduating with honors. His academic research focused on public sector reforms and water services management in Croatia.

In his free time, Željko enjoys exploring new places and cultures, showcasing his passion for continuous learning and personal growth.
