Laure Blanchard
Senior Adviser, Brussels
Laure Blanchard-Brunac provides counsel on funding and partnerships, financial services and investment-related policies in Rud Pedersen Public Affairs Brussels Office. Laure has more than 20 years of experience in finance and policy across leading institutions, specialising in sustainability, digital and climate. She currently is a member of the InvestEU Investment Committee, an independent body responsible for approving projects benefitting from the EU Guarantee, under the Research, Innovation and Digitalisation (RID) Window of the InvestEU Fund.
Previously, Laure held senior roles at the European Commission, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and with European development finance institutions (EDFIs). After spending more than 10 years executing debt and equity transactions in corporates, financial institutions, and infrastructure projects, Laure dedicated her energy to EU policy and blended finance and contributed to the development of more than 20 blended finance initiatives, including EU financial instruments under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) as well as the European Fund for Sustainable Development Plus (EFSD+). Laure holds a postgraduate Grande Ecole degree from HEC Paris.
