The Rud Pedersen Group is acquiring Welcom AB as from the 1st July 2017. The acquisition is part of Rud Pedersen's strategic expansion and also broadens the group's total competence in market communication.
“Welcom is a creative and reputable agency with a very strong brand, especially in the Gothenburg region. It is a company with dedicated employees and owners who work together in the business, which means both organisations, Welcom and Rud Pedersen, have the same culture. Together, we will be able to develop a stronger and broader concept in Sweden and the Nordic region," Morten Rud Pedersen, CEO of Rud Pedersen Group, said.
“Being part of the Rud Pedersen Group, with their Nordic and global networks, is an opportunity for Welcom to develop further. Welcom will join the fastest growing and most successful company in the public affairs industry in recent years,” said Joakim Brinkenberg, Managing Director of Welcom.
Welcom AB is based in Gothenburg and is a hybrid agency that supplies PR, digital communications, campaigns, events and communication in social media. Welcom had a turnover of 22 million SEK last year and currently has 19 employees. Welcom will continue to operate under the same brand name. All current partners are going to continue working in the business. More info. www.welcom.se
