Communications Officer for the Rud Pedersen Group

The Rud Pedersen Group operates four brands in five countries, and, as we are rapidly growing and expanding all of our brands, we are looking for a communications officer to help us develop our internal and external communication. 

Since the founding of Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in 2003, we have grown, developed and added brands in our group based on needs and opportunities. Our focus is always on our clients and their requirements, and now we wish to add to our team someone who can keep the focus on a coherent branding of the Group.

The tasks

The communications officer will work with the four brands in the Group (Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, King Street PR, Welcom and RP People) to develop and maintain branding opportunities and branded materials. You will be working with the Group Management Team in developing internal policies for local implementation of our social media presence, as well as develop the interconnectivity of the Group’s websites.

The communication officer will not need to do the actual building of new websites, but will develop them together with a web development team, and work with continuous maintenance and evolution of our online presence.

With an increasing family of companies comes a growing need for effective internal communication. We want your help to develop cross-company communication channels for internal communication to help knit our colleagues in the Rud Pedersen Group even closer.

Work with an agile approach to the Group’s communication needs, in close cooperation with our current and (possible) future brands.

The different components of the Rud Pedersen Group have different activities where we may need branded materials, everything from the political festivals in the four Nordic countries to annual seminars and events for the different markets, showing off our skillsets.

Your profile:

You should have a degree in communications with a keen eye for online and off-line material. A few years of experience working with content for social media and developing social media presence and strategies is preferable.

As the main part of the Rud Pedersen Group is the work within Public Affairs, we value an insight into political or-policy driven organisations, such as political parties, government, NGOs or EU bodies. 

The position is based at Rud Pedersen’s Brussels office, and requires full professional proficiency in English.

The position may include travel, primarily between the Group’s different offices.
