Jakob Eldrup Lauesen is a Public Affairs Director in Rud Pedersen's Copenhagen office.
Prior to joining Rud Pedersen, Jakob worked as a political advisor in ministries, in the Social Democratic Party, in a Labour Market Union, and as a government official in the central administration.
From 2011 until the election in 2015, Jakob was special advisor to the Minister for Cities, Housing and Rural Affairs, and the Minister for Nordic Cooperation. Prior to the change of government in 2011, Jakob held a position as a political advisor at The Danish Social Democrats party in the Danish parliament. His field of work included policy-development on Business and Industry, Finance, the Labour Market, Housing, and Social Affairs.
Before becoming a political advisor, Jakob worked as a government official in the Ministry of Employment, where he was, from 2001 to 2006, a member of staff in the secretariat to the Minister.
