Catharina Elmsäter-Svärd is a Senior Advisor at Rud Pedersen’s Stockholm office.
Catharina is an expert in the field of smart transport systems and has been focusing on future developments in the circular/sharing economy and digital systems when it comes to infrastructure and automation projects. She was the government Minister of Infrastructure between 2010 and 2014, and before that, Finance Commissioner for Stockholm County Council. She was also a member of parliament between 1997 and 2008. When she was deputy leader of the Moderate Party, chairing both the Environment and Agriculture Committees and the Employment Committee. She has a strong business background, including manager of the City Hotel in Sodertalje between 1987 and 1995.
